I don’t have much background in readings of any type, and I felt uncertain when I had my first reading in 2013, but I needn’t have worried. Miss Renée is approachable, warm, and real. No pretense, no vague utterances that you are then made to interpret to your liking. Instead, Renée gives specifics. She also shared the “why” and tells you what to Google if you want to learn on your own.i was living and working overseas and needed some perspective on a job I was planning to apply for. Renée told me so many things about my situation that were true and then provided information about the 6-12 months to come and was spot-on. She doesn’t leave things vague or try to hedge. Her insights are clear, specific, and lucid. She also is reassuring when the news isn’t 100 percent rosy.I’ve just had a reading for 2021 and she provided also info on 2022 and a little of 2023. Already many things she said have borne out to be true. Her insights–what is important for me to focus on and what I need to do to have the best outcome–have been so healing and helpful. How have I never reviewed Miss Renee before?! This woman is the REAL DEAL, and has helped me more than she will ever know. I’ve gone to her several times — a few times when I had a very specific question, and a handful of times when I just wanted to see what the cards were say.My mind was BLOWN each time. Not only did she pick up on my current energies, she was able to accurately tell me where I had been (emotionally and mentally) in the last 6 months to a year in my life. Miss Renée did an ‘natal chart with transits’ reading for us and I was very impressed with the fascinating insights and Miss Renée’s wealth of knowledge. We’ll be going back again soon! I saw miss Rene last July 2015. Needing her help to make a decision about moving from the West to East coast. She gives 100 percent during the reading but towards the end she didn’t Remember why I had come, what my big question was. Then she quickly said “Go to Massachsetts it will be great and is meant to be.”It turned out to be a pretty bad decision almost a year later I am heading back west. I don’t blame Miss Rene but I have lost all faith inPsychics and what they do.

I am grateful to be able to see her yesterday as my mind completely just fizzed out. I think I’m on my way to being on track again. She does not hold back. BEWARE. I think she asked permission to do so and I did. I wanted all the bad and good. How are you going to fix yourself if you don’t know what to fix? Going to her is like going to a psychic doctor. I wanted to hear it all. She hit just about everything on the nose. She knows where to zone in on the issues you need to work on.Like the other poster stated who was familiar with tarot , I pulled the same cards for myself in tarot… and being in the state of mind I was in, I wasn’t able to read myself. (hence I went to someone else- to have it all told to me) Her energy is strong. I felt her before the reading so I knew she knew I was coming down to see her. I wanted to go smudge myself but due to my living situation I couldn’t do it (plus I don’t tell people I do that) she did that to me before my reading. I knew I came to the right place. She does give you small homework to work on. I didn’t ask for a future reading-rather how to work on my current situation…I was more focused on what I needed to do to maintain things. She was accurate and all made sense. It feels odd that all the things I knew I needed to do she validated. I think she was surprised herself. If I didn’t go to her, I might have gone the wrong way in life. I do think this. Bring a recorder especially if you need to heal. Wish I did but this was a last minute appt. I basically just walked out of my reading and healing with Brenda. I’ve never done something like this before but have always been curious. To say I’m beyond happy and grateful I did is an understatement. The moment I walked in I felt a calm and welcoming space. Brenda greeted me with exactly the same energy plus more. She briefly asked what brought me in and I shared very broad information, struggles with career and romantic future. She immediately started to feel and read my energy. Wow. I had been in a fairly dark point in my life due to a transitional time in my life, past trauma and incessant job searching. COVID has shifted life for many of us, myself included. Around May I was feeling like traditional therapy wasn’t for me anymore so I started to look into other forms of therapy. I scheduled an apt with Brenda after seeing so many wonderful reviews and reading about her on her website. I rarely review on yelp but felt the need as my session with her was extremely helpful and she was everything I was hoping she would be…and more:). She was very welcoming and her studio was peaceful and relaxing.Brenda helped me confirm a career decision that has had me feeling very depleted for the past two months. Her language she used to express her energies she was receiving about my options for my decision was more helpful than my journal entries in the last 2 months. It was literally like she had a direct call to my intuition and translated it with words that were so impactful and helpful. Even she went over the hour I had scheduled, I am already wishing I would have scheduled more time with her. No words can describe what an amazing time I had with Raven. She not only knew everything going on with my work life, she also connected me with a friend I had lost, years before. She helped me make sense of so much, even what got me the most, was the fact she was able to channel my dog without me even mentioning him, down to his goofy features. Did I also mention she was aware of my upcoming vacation, and where I was headed? I was in shock and amazement.She also mentioned some crucial facts about my roommate and a recent life incident that had come up, which really surprised me. While staying with a friend in Portland, we found Raven on Yelp and thought we’d give it a try. I called the number listed and she was super helpful in squeezing us in before our flight out. She gave us two readings in her apartment, and knew things about each of us that were honest and surprising. I felt that she has a real talent and was able to reassure me in a time of my life where there is a lot of change. Let me first just state that I am not a skeptic by any means. But this woman is NOT as incredible as others have made her out to be at all. I will stay away from the ‘f’ word (fraud) but she is definitely not worth spending $30+ dollars on plus extras..She is unprofessional, and asks for “favors” from you before even meeting you (ie: buying her a candy bar and bringing it with you to your first session along with a vanilla latte from the local coffee shop….). I understand that some may think she has skills and insight beyond anyone else they have ever known, but maybe they just haven’t met the right people. Let me elaborate…First off, my late card reader from my home state said this: a person with a real gift will not extort the gift they have been given by overcharging and extorting those who need guidance, otherwise God would take it away. This was a man who right out of the gate only knew my first name and my zodiac sign, and was able to pinpoint exactly what had been going on in my life, what was shortly to come in the near future, and what was to come within the next 6 months.His rate: $25 w/recording of the reading provided for about an hour to an hour and a half. Didn’t not ask probing questions, just yes/no questions. I had also gone to a woman($36 for a half hour) who again, was professional and only probed the smallest amount in order to clarify a reading to a higher extent. Both of these readers were beyond exceptional. They were precise and made accurate predictions which required very little of my explanation of myself.Now that I moved to OR, I have been looking for someone who fits the bill for my card reader, skeptical about the authenticity though, due to so many swindlers up living up here. That’s when I checked Yelp, and after seeing that Raven was the cheapest ($30 cash), I thought that she might actually have a gift instead of just swindling people out of cash… This is what happened when I called to set my appt: First, she explained she was “the highest rated Yelp psychic” and when we got around to setting my appointment, she instructed me that I would have to go to the coffee shop close by to her, buy a medium vanilla latte (for her mind you and it could be taken out of the $30), tip $1 to the barista, ask for a key for her place, head to her apartment (she gave me directions), let myself in and we would have a one hour session with a tarot card reading, a runes reading, and a palm reading. Well, my day for my appt comes and she calls to reschedule for the next day due to a migraine. Ok, no big deal. Well, the day rolls around and as I was late getting off work, I call her to let her know because I don’t want to make her question if I am blowing her off. After she said it’s no big deal, she asked if I “could do her a favor” and buy her a candy bar. It didn’t matter what kind, as long as it isn’t Hershey’s and how it was “for the ritual”……. (first off, ANYONE can see THAT was a load of BS… but whatever, I am actually a nice person so I oblige). As I get to the coffee shop, I get the latte, get the key, head over and after waiting a few minutes for her to finish up with another client, (for the record, I was a half hour late…) we start the session. Kinda..See,the reading would have started, if it hadnt been for the four interruptions by her hand carry delivery guy, and the countless text msgs and phone calls taken. Plus she asked me to pay upfront (which I declined to do–you should NEVER DO). As we started the reading, she actually CONTINUED to TEXT THE ENTIRE TIME.The reading: she was vague and extremely general. She used terms and ideas that EVERYONE has in their life — relationships, work, stress and traveling. She did not touch on details at all in the same way I have experienced countless times before. Instead she kept asking me questions, rather than reading what the cards said. She didn’t even touch on the biggest thing on my mind right now which should have been in the cards: whether or not I should switch employment locations (I work in retail). After she read the 13 out of 72 tarot cards to me, she wanted me to ask more of a specific question so that she could decipher what the cards said (this is an old fraud’s trick…) and when I asked a general “what is going on with my job” she interpreted that to mean that I was wondering what was going on with my upline management and if mgmt was switching around. Nope. She kept missing the mark with EVERYTHING she was going over, including preference in what type of guy I like and that I highly value aesthetics (keep in mind I was well dressed so she was judging me based off of clothing). Then, she had me read this unrelated Runes bit about not over thinking things–again general..This experience ended in me paying $10 total (reduced cause of the disruptions), not including the coffee or candy. Anyone interested in TRUE insightful guidance, please pass on this one. Otherwise you will waste your time and money.

I have waited a bit before leaving a review because I wanted to have more feed back. My readings were about an outcome of a relationship and also about my career. What was said during the sessions was pretty accurate, and quite truthful both about the direction of my present relationship and the outcome in my career as well. It was the best $109 I’ve ever spent in my life. She is my goto from now on and I will call her my spiritual advisor. I left there with such a sense of peace and well-being, it was amazing – I want to hold onto this feeling forever. Later I ran into my estranged 17 yr old daughter at a supermarket & I just felt my energy reaching out and wrapping around & giving her a big hug, I think she felt it too. It was a beautiful moment, truly and honestly I’m at peace right now. I came to Annalena when it was a period of my life that I was going through a lot of challenges. I was so confused and not able to make any decisions. Here’s my backstory: I’m an R&D & consulting scientist/engineer w/a grad degree in the sciences, and a mystic, spiritual teacher/healer & intuitive. I’ve had readings from 290+ psychics in my life. Since I’m a mystic, my life is filled with Divine love & grace; b/c my mind is calm & quiet, it’s very easy for a good psychic to read me, but a poor psychic won’t see much b/c there are no dramas in my life to cause big blips on the psychic radar screen.Please note that when I visit psychics, I’m NOT seeking help w/problems, nor w/wishes, nor seeking answers or spiritual guidance. Rather, I visit them because God/Source asks me to & b/c it’s fun to connect w/supernatural readers. BTW, I’m VERY good at setting boundaries w/people like pushy salespeople & unethical psychics who might try to con/upsell me. So, when reading my reviews, it may be VERY HELPFUL to bear in mind what I wrote above, b/c your own experience w/a psychic may differ from mine; your mileage may vary! BTW, my reviews of psychics are for readings only, and never for extra services they might offer (e.g., healings, clearings, spiritual guidance).I passed this shop (@ 218 SW Broadway) while on a walk early one recent afternoon and found it open, somewhat to my surprise, since it had always been closed during earlier attempts to visit it during posted business hours. The sole reader on duty was a young woman in her 20s, and she agreed to give me a reading, although I was a bit disappointed, b/c I had hoped to get a reading from Athena. Seconds later, well before the reading had started, her mother (Athena) a 40-something woman with dark hair, arrived at the nearby curbside in her SUV, & b/c we’d each instantly felt some sort of mutual spark of recognition or familiarity on an inner level when we first saw each other, she chose to do the reading herself. The reading was done in the back room of the two-room shop. Athena sat behind her desk, and I sat in a chair in front of it. I asked for a palm reading and psychic aura reading; I paid the $150 fee up front, plus a $10 tip. As I always do w/readings, this was a totally cold reading: I told Athena, prior to the start, only my full birth name & date/place of birth, that I had grown up in the NY/NJ area, and that I visit Portland once a year. I told her nothing more about myself until after the reading had ended. Athena started with the palm reading, and then moved on to the psychic energy/aura reading. From the very start of the reading, she made startlingly accurate statements on a number of aspects of my life, including the following [a (*) denotes I’ve been told the same thing by many psychics & mystics, while a (??) means I find something unlikely]:- (*) that I am a very old soul, far older than anyone she’d ever met & that it was highly unusual that I should have reincarnated again, b/c I had long ago gone free of bonds to the karmic wheel of life.- (*) that the reason that I’d reincarnated was to serve the Divine, to help all beings, particularly on the spiritual level, & that I do it w/a great amount of lightheartedness & playfulness.- (*) that my aura/energy body is very large, bright, healthy & clear.- (*) that my body is very healthy.- (*) that God/Source & the angels ensure that money comes easily to me to support the work that I am asked to do in this world- (*) that my spiritual work often involves travel to cities aross the US.- (*) that I am strongly protected by the Divine in this life, and that I have often miraculously escaped harm or death in numerous dangerous situations- (*) that both my mind and my entire life are very quiet, calm & peaceful, without any dramas or problems. – (*) that I will live an extremely long and healthy life, almost totally free of bumps or problems.- (*) that my wife & I have an open relationship, and that I have several beautiful young female friends.- (*) that many people from around the world, including beautiful young women, seek me out, often asking or demanding to be my instant friend, and that I’m very good at keeping such people at a distance as needed.- (*) that a great amount of Divine love and grace seems to emanate from me.- (*) that I have strong psychic/intuitive abilities.- that I have great expertise in a number of scientific & technical realms. As visiting Portland from the south, my friend and I decided we would get a reading done. We walked passed this place a few times wanting to check it out. “Appointment only/walk-in welcomes”….?…which was not a problem.. we called the number on door, no answer. We walk passed on the way to our hotel and the door was opened. This place is Nice, as any other psychic building. The owner herself is very beautiful and looked the part. There was one lady in front of us waiting for the owner for a reading. There was another lady which could have been her daughter, reading another persons life. The owner Went into the room as the client is getting read, asking her to speed things up (in other words). The lady(another psychic) came out and the owner escorted her client into the closed-in back room area. As she was walking in, the other psychic was spoke to by the owner in a different language. Next thing you know, the other psychic tried to start our reading out in the lobby where the streets are loud, trains are passing through, people passing by the clear glass windows and the door half way opened. !!!!???? Very unprofessional!!!!!!What really pissed me off is that the lady told us we would have to stand outside the door in 40 degree weather. While the other is getting read. Wow…. I could have sneeze and messed up the energy in the room from outside. That’s how much privacy we had… I walked out and told her that I could get a better experience elsewhere. The place might look nice but the service was not At all intriguing.. spend your money elsewhere and ask about your local psychics.. I could say a lot more but I respect business owners. I gave this place a 1 Star for the nice lighting In the waiting area.

They are truly gifted and take the time to explain things in detail. I read one negative review on here… and I’m not sure if that person was just having a bad day and wanted to take it out on someone or what? When seeing a spiritual advisor… they are only human… lol. They do their best. Athena and Pricilla are very honest and caring… very gifted in what they do. They truly care!!! I wouldn’t be working with them for a few years unless they were very nice people and VERY GIFTED in what they do. It’s been several days since my session with Anna, and I still can’t stop reflecting. It was a remarkable experience, to say the least. I found it to be interesting how she was able to sense that their is an 8 year old boy who really cares about me and that I don’t have the closest relationship with my mother without me telling her anything about it. But I really don’t think it was worth over $200 to see her when a big portion of my session was just her saying how she wanted me to relax and sense the feelings and her not going into the amount of detail as I wanted her to with the things I wanted to talk to her about. I’d still recommend her and I would for sure go back if she didn’t charge as much.

My reading with Anna was a magical experience. She was able to connect me to my grandmother who I believed had been sending me signs. The validation I received was rewarding and has allowed me to feel even more connected to my grandmother than before. Anna picked up on significant life events without me giving any information before the reading. Anna is truly worth every penny. My reading with her was on point, I hardly did any talking or explaining on my end and she was able to pinpoint and express things that I have not be able to find words for myself- most things she brought up, hardly anyone knows about me. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is so caring and helpful and every time I come in I always leave with always leave with a great experience. Their witchy section is on point, the jewelry is awesome, the clothing is super cute, and they have often given me deals when I am in the struggle. This is a true neighborhood shop that prioritizes the community, has A+ service, and just cool ass stuff. (Plus can’t go wrong with the photobooth up front)

This place is awesome! Everything is clean, well kept, organized and displayed so beautifully. It’s also far larger than I was expecting. They have a cute photo booth at the entrance which prints you out four photos on a strip (one in color and one in black and white). They’re very forward with their pricing so there’s no surprises, and the women working today were very friendly and helpful!

I don’t want to write this and reveal one of my favorite secret spots… but I also love this business too much that I can’t help but support it.Psychic Sister is magic. I love it’s character, quirkiness and overall great vibes.The first section of the shop is very new age, and here’s you’ll find tarot decks, crystals, and incense, but what most folks don’t know is that the store has some of the best affordable vintage clothing. You may have to dig it a bit to find what you’re looking for, but it’s totally worth it!

Larger than it appears at first this clever vintage, crystals and tarot store in the Alberta Arts District, Psychic Sister, is a nod to all things mystic and fashionable. The prices here are reasonable for well curated vintage clothing, particularly items that are well selected and in excellent condition. Creative thought has been given to the items on display and for sale here, down to the humorous vending machine in their side entryway. Not a lot of interaction with sales staff here probably due to the cavernous store, but they did help me when I requested a fitting room.A clever and interesting approach to retail. A fun place to browse and shop!

Every time I come into this shop, I leave with my hands loaded. Between the crystal selection, feminist and witchy books, super reasonably priced secondhand clothes, and the tarot card selection – there’s always something that catches my eye. I absolutely love that this shop is queer and feminist affirming, and it feels like a safe and fun space to shop every time! Plus the decor is rad!

I was not expecting this store to be as expansive as it is, as my wife and I approached the door on the 19th Avenue side. Honestly, I think we were both expecting it to be not much more than a private booth for a tarot reader or psychic. Instead, what we found was a massive shop catering to esoterics and mystics, selling everything from crystals to clothing, tarot and trinkets, and audacious oddities. I guess that’s why *I* am not a psychic.Not a whole lot here caters to my personal tastes (fashion or otherwise), so I can’t contribute a whole lot of insight, when it comes to knowing what to look for here. I will say that the assortment of vintage clothing on sale was unique, interesting and stylish, and priced reasonably. The store is laid out in a manner than it fun to traverse and browse, clean, organized and air-conditioned, which is a big perk on a swelteringly hot day.It doesn’t take a psychic to foretell that aspiring witches, sorceresses and oracles are likely to find the whatever focus, fetish or frock they’re looking for here at Psychic Sister. I can’t *spell* it out any clearer than that.

I’ve been seeing Anya for a few months now and though I have been getting a lot out of it each time, this last time was the real clincher. She helped me through an extremely difficult experience with compassion and grace and was able to hold space for my experience in a way that many others would have failed. I was truly amazed by her intuition and discernment, which she expressed in a way that I could really feel and understand. Anya is absolutely great. I have some significant trauma that has affected my lifestyle and relationships. I got to a point where my own efforts and traditional talk-therapy wasn’t enough anymore. I researched hypnotherapy, came across her service, and the reviews are what drew me to giving it a try. I didn’t know what I expected, but what her services has done for me is something I am forever grateful for. My trauma is not something that is easy to talk about, and I’m sure it isn’t something necessarily easy to hear about either. I came to see Anya in hopes of working through an issue I had with being triggered. I was often triggered by my toddler, and the response in my mind and body did not match the stimulus. I was dealing with feelings of anger, sadness, and a feeling of not being in control of my emotions/actions. It felt out of body, it felt like suffering and it felt horrible. Intellectually I knew this wasn’t how I wanted to behave, it’s not how I wanted to respond, but I was powerless to change it in the moment. I have been to therapy on and off for years, read so many books on parenting and self improvement, but nothing seemed to really “stick”. I decided to give hypnotherapy a try. I found Anya through Google reviews and wow am I glad I did. My experience is hard for me to put into words, but it’s been nothing short of life-changing! I had two amazing visits with Anya, but the third was were the “magic” happened. It honestly feels like magic. During our third session she helped me to find the memory in which all of this started, where my subconscious was “stuck”, she helped me work through it, to heal. It’s seriously incredible! I still am having a hard time believing this is real life for me now. I spent the first week cautiously waiting for my daughter to “trigger” me, but she never did. I just assumed she was just having a really good week. I asked my husband about it and he said nope, she’s definitely behaving like her normal self. I am no longer triggered by her normal toddler behaviors. I am no longer having this out of control, suffering experience. About seven months ago I came down with chronic tinnitus after an ear injury. For several months I was a total mess. Anya helped me calm down my system and turn down the fight-or-flight mechanism that kicks in for many people after getting sudden chronic tinnitus. I think it’s worth mentioning here what her practice of hypnotherapy looks like. It’s not the stereotype that you might think of with hypnosis. Her practice is based on deep relaxation with guided visualizations and meditation, along with very purposeful and light cranial massage, designed to put your mind and soul at ease, and to give you a toolkit to be able to do it on your own. She’s *really* good at what she does! Would recommend her to anyone going through any major life transitions that have caused worry, distress, anxiety or depression.

Hypnotherapy with Anya has been much more helpful than I thought it would be. Though it seems like just a more formal and guided form of relaxation or meditation, I also find myself carrying that relaxation and mindfulness with me long after the session. I had an incredible hypnotherapy session with Anya! I wanted to release a sensitivity to tomatoes that I had developed in recent years. My throat would get itchy, or I’d get a stomachache. I asked my intuition to let me know memories which were associated with the sensitivity as I had read (and believe) that many allergies develop due to negative emotional responses which become read by the body as negative. Right before the session, I remembered two significant memories: one from my childhood and one from recent years.I brought these in. Anya, who’s very intuitive, led me through a hypnotherapy process where I was able to find my inner strength in a beautiful way (an image of a tree), and then, I reworked these memories in ways that brought humor and surprisingly, joy! We laughed a lot which was part of the healing, and Anya worked with me to release all guilt or fear. One of the things I loved about the session was how interactive it was! Usually you think of hypnotherapy as like a kind of technique where you’re almost asleep. But, the way Anya does it, which I love, is to encourage full presence. The powerful thing about this interactive hypnotherapy style is that because I was so present and engaged, I felt as though the Infinite knowing within me wasn’t separate from the regular part of me! And, now, I can access this part of me more easily, just by bringing up the image of the tree! And, after the session, I felt completely rejuvenated! I highly recommend Anya if you’re seeking a way to release and renew!

Ryan is a brilliant healer and kind soul. I participated in one of his healing clinic days where I received a 30-minute energy healing for $25. This was my first time working with Ryan and it was a great experience! He is a very skillful, compassionate, and knowledgeable healer. I’ve been working with Ryan for the past 9 years. I started receiving readings and energy healings from him when we were both living in Chicago. I moved to SF and was really hoping to continue working with him! This store has changed a great deal from the old days. This store was once run mostly by people who were involved with the Ananda Church of Self-Realization. And though said managers and employees never tried to convert you to their religion, they at least were very supportive of anyone on a spiritual path. Staff and clientele of this store was much more diverse – – in terms of economics, race, and age — back in those days.Today, this store seems more like the female version of the “Good Ole Boys Club.” Which is to say, like much of Portland, it has been gentrified.If you aren’t an affluent, white woman between the ages of about 30 and 60, you kind of aren’t wanted here. Note the earlier reviews from women of color who mentioned being followed as they shopped…… And I, as a male, have had it made pretty clear that they don’t want my kind in their midst either. In fact, even though my patronage of this store began in 1993 (before some current staff were even born!), I have also had the bizarre experience of being followed as I shopped. Creepy beyond belief!So I don’t visit anymore. Besides, I can get anything I need online and without the snooty attitude.

The weather was cold out, like 30° (give or take) so I had a big puffy coat on and was profiled and followed the ENTIRE time by this older white woman with glasses and a limp and an older, short, white, bald man with glasses and a blue cost. I could hear them talking about me saying things like “which one is it?” and “where is she now?” And “I got eyes on her.” They literally followed me everywhere in the shop, I mean EVERYWHERE! This was a horrible, uncomfortable and unnecessary experience. The staff in this establishment NEED to take some Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) courses ASAP before a lawsuit gets filed for discrimination. This is a serious matter and is absolutely not the way to run a business. This is really unfortunate because the establishment is absolutely adorable, and I would have loved to had the opportunity to be treated equally and actually shop without being followed and looked at as a thief. I bought a wonderful book for my partner, but not sure if I will ever go back due to the awful experience that I had being profiled, discriminated, and followed.

This store has a calm and relaxing vibe , which is a stark contrast from the hustle and bustle of 23rd . You are greeted with a whiff of great incense and essential oils when you enter ,coupled with the spiritual music playing , it instantly makes you feel welcome. I am not so much into spiritual books but this store really fascinates me with the rest of the stuff they sell – Incenses , essential oils , candles , crystals , water fountains , wind chimes ,jewelry ,artifacts ,soaps , teas etc. .It might feel a little cramped in there but I love the fact that there is so much variety .The employees are polite and helpful. The prices are on the higher side but there is something for everyone here . If you are looking to get something to make your place feel more Zen and relaxing , I would highly recommend checking them out .

They have everything spiritual here from candles to crystals to chakra bowls and books! Ron R. & I shall be back for sure! Loved the vibe in here and that they made sure that everyone sanitized before touching any of the specimens. I appreciated all the sales associates’ honesty when they couldn’t identify certain crystals and looked them up. Feel good and Support your local shops people!

This is a darling little shop with a great selection of books regarding spirituality and astrology. They have tons of charming knick knacks, gifts, and crystals. I went close to closing time so I didn’t get to fully explore everything they have to offer because I ran out of time but I will definitely go back. Only took off 1 star because I’m a total rockhound and their prices are way higher than some local competitors. Other than high prices, this place is great. Its worth it to pay more sometimes to support local businesses.

New Renaissance Bookshop carries the largest selection of spiritual books in Oregon. But they are much more than a bookshop. They carry crystals, jewelry, incense, cards, aromatherapy products, clothes, journals, home decor items, CDs, DVDs and much much more. Every time I walk in to this store I get a sense of calm and relaxation. There is incense burning and terrific spiritual music playing. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. New Renaissance occupies four Victorian houses and includes an event center. Browsing the store is so much fun. There is something of interest here for everyone. Highly recommend visiting New Renaissance Bookshop.
